The people behind the production of Maruja has been mum about Piolo Pascual's role in the series. They said that Piolo has been part of the cast since day one, but they have to keep it a secret from everybody else. Even Piolo's role is supposed to be a secret.

But Piolo gave it all away with a slip of tongue.

Piolo's role is Gabriel - but he isn't supposed to say. Right now, the viewers are led to believe that Derek Ramsey is Gabriel. The twist in Piolo's character is now not a suspense anymore, but everything's not lost, so it seems.

Piolo Pascual Makes it to Yes! 100 Beautiful Stars

If there's one word to describe Piolo, it would be beautiful. That's how he landed in one of the spots for Yes! Magazines's 100 Most Beautiful Stars. Piolo is beautiful inside out. Aside from his drool-worthy looks, his heart is filled with humility. That's why he's blessed more.

Piolo is categorized by the magazine feature as one of the most beautiful leading men. He shared the distinction with fellow Star Magic artist John Lloyd Cruz and rival Dingdong Dantes.

Piolo Pascual is Courting KC Again

Piolo vocally admits that he is wooing his leading lady in Lovers in Paris, KC Concepcion. KC, on the other hand, is not giving Piolo any answer at the moment. In fact, she said that she'll just text him so he'll know if he is to continue or to stop his intentions. Piolo admitted that he is yet to receive that text message.

However, Piolo doesn't want people to think that he's just doing this as a promotion for their upcoming series, which is set to be aired in July. He says that his intentions are pure and that he is courting KC in a traditional way. He goes to her house with chocolates and flowers, although chocolates can make KC fat. He even met with KC's mom, Sharon Cuneta in one of his visits.

Piolo don't want to elaborate on his intentions or anything else about KC because his efforts might be mistaken as a promotional stint, which he doesn't really want to happen.

Piolo Pascual Hopes to Produce More Films

The first movie that Piolo Pascual produced is Manila. And it's a great indie project, given the fact that it was recognized at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. And right now, it has received invitations to 8 more international film fest, including the Moscow Film Fest.

Piolo wishes to join the team to Moscow but he said he might not be able to due to his previous commitments. Manila also gave Piolo the rare chance to be nominated as Best Actor in Cannes.

Right now, Piolo will be producing a commercial film and not another indie movie as previously reported. The main characters are Eugene Domingo and DingDong Dantes, which will be a comedy flick. The working title is Kimmy Dora (Kambal sa Kiyeme). This one will be directed by his close friend, Joyce Bernal.

When asked if he would like to direct as well, Piolo said it's a tough job. He is not into venturing to it right now but he can't tell. Maybe in the future. He's just an occasional producer but he hopes to be successful here and that he can make more projects in the future.

Piolo Pascual to Appear in Maruja

Piolo Pascual will be back acting on TV, this time with Kristine Hermosa via Maruja. Piolo will play a guest role in the series. He'll appear in Maruja's dreams and he'll be the third man who will boggle Maruja's mind. Piolo will be seen in the series starting June 20.

This one's a short stint but it will surely be worth watching. Piolo Pascual is reunited with another Star Magic talent, Kristine Hermosa. Their last soap together was Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako, which was aired 10 years ago.

She's pretty from all angles, he said. Even if she cries, she's still pretty. And a very versatile actress too. She can actually do anything that's asked of her.

Piolo Pascual's Billboards Torn Down

DPWH ordered the tearing down of billboards along the major highways that has explicit themes or those that can cause distraction to the drivers on moving traffic. Many of sexually-themed billboards are already taken down. But even those that features actors and actresses donning sexy outfits are being considered as well.

Most advertisers voluntarily took their billboards down, even if they are not requested by the said government department. One such billboard removed was Piolo Pascual's San Mig billboard, which pictures him wearing just a pair of pants and no shirt. He was joined by a Fil-Am model in the ad and she's wearing a blue swimsuit.

Piolo Pascual Readies for Star Magic US Tour

Piolo Pascual, as an exclusive talent of Star Magic, will figure prominently in the "Star Magic: The World Concert Tour" that will begin its first leg in the US very soon.

All Star Magic talents will be there, from the veteran ones like Claudine Barretto and Kristine Hermosa to the newer league like Matt Evans and Jon Avila.

Piolo will do a song number together with Sam Milby and John Lloyd Cruz. Everyone included in the Star Magic roster will be at the event.

The concert will be held on June 27 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. There will be a second show the following day in Cow Palace Arena San Francisco, California.

Piolo Pascual a Guest Singer on Kris and Baby James's Album

Star Records produced an educational training album for kids, via celebrity mother and son team, Kris Aquino and Baby James Yap. The album's title is "We are 1" and Piolo Pascual lent his talent to it via the song "Thank God I Found You".

It is a two-disc CD which also features the voices of Aiza Seguerra, Gary Valenciano, and Rhap Salazar. The voices of Kris Aquino and Santino of May Bukas Pa can be heard in the CD as well.

Piolo Pascual Produces An Indie Film Anew

After the success of Manila, which is Piolo Pascual's first official, full length film production, he's on a roll. He said he enjoys being a producer and is now making another film. This time, he won't star in the movie and will only take the back seat. He'll be the boss, so to speak. Piolo once said that being an actor and a producer is hard. He knew that for a fact while doing Manila.

This time around, he'll try his hand to be just the producer of KimmyDora, Eugene Domingo's first solo film. It will launch her as a star and it should be a fun movie to watch. Comedienne Eugene Domingo will be joined by Dingdong Dantes in this film as his leading man.

Piolo Pascual's Manila Goes to Moscow

After being recognized in the Cannes Film Festival, Piolo Pascual's indie film, Manila, is now Moscow bound. It will be submitted as one of the entries in the upcoming Moscow Film Festival in Russia. If accepted, Piolo is most likely to go there again to present his film. If his hectic schedule will permit him, that is.

Manila is also being drafted to be Cinemalaya's 2009 opening film. However, there's still a lot of loose ends with this offer, as Star Cinema is not very much sold with the idea. Star Cinema has bought the film's local distribution rights. Therefore, they have the last say as far as the film's showing in the local theaters or cinemas is concerned. The target showing date of Manila is in August.
