Love Me Again Showing on January 15

It's official. There are no more turning back for the Philippine official screening of Love Me Again, Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin's movie together. The movie has been postponed from its original play date of November. Finally, the Filipino fans of the Piolo and Angel team-up will have answered prayers. The movie that was shot in Darwin and in Bukidnon for more than three months will hit the theaters real soon. Everybody is eager to find out if the movie is really worth the wait.

Directed by Rory Quintos, the movie is a love story between two lovers who rekindled their relationship only to lose it again to circumstances. The highlight of the movie, or better yet, the most talked about part of it is the love scene of Piolo and Angel, which they claimed they shot for 2 days. However, it was reported that Star Cinema cut several of the scenes to shorten it. Probably to meet MTRCB's premium rating.

Watch out the opening on January 15 on cinemas all over the nation. Incidentally, Piolo Pascual's birthday is three days prior. Piolo's fans could support this movie as their birthday gift to their idol.

Love Me Again (Land Down Under) is a Hit in The US

Love Me Again, Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin's movie together had its international premiere at Los Angeles and San Francisco last December 6 and 7. The event was a hit, none the less. US fans had found the movie very beautiful, moving, and is definitely worth watching.

Previously titled Land Down Under, Star Cinema has changed its title during the last minute as Love Me Again. It is a story of two people taken apart by circumstances. Their quest for true love leads them back to each other's arms.

Piolo Pascual left for the US much earlier than Angel and he would stay longer too. He is currently spending quality time with his son. Piolo will be back in the Philippines for a few days only to go back again to the US for the Christmas holidays.

Piolo Pascual Back after Australian Shoot

Piolo Pascual, along with Angel Locsin, are finally back in the country after the rigorous filming of Land Down Under in the Land Down Under country itself, Australia. The pair said that they shot some of the scenes in Darwin and Sydney. While there, Piolo was interviewed by the local press, showing that even Australian are interested in watching the movie. However, Piolo Pascual and his leading lady won't be here for too long. Next week, they will be in the U.S., more particularly in California for the U.S. premier of their movie. This is the first time when a local movie will be shown first in another country, instead of right here in the Phils.

Land Down Under: The Story

Land Down Under casts Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin, which is a love story about two people finding love, losing it, and making it theirs again. In this movie, Piolo Pascual plays Migo. Angel Locsin is Arah and they are both from Bukidnon. Piolo (Migo) had worked for a long time in Manila. He went back to Bukidnon when his family lost their ranch due to his father's death.

That's when he met Arah. Arah is the most beautiful and the best rodeo queen in Bukidnon. They were once a pair prior to Piolo (Migo) leaving for Manila. He then sets out to win her back again. However, things aren't that simple. Arah is already engaged to a rich Australian Rancher. She accepted the marriage because she believe it is one way to make their poor life better. She still loves Migo but she'd rather be married to a rich man.

Arah flew to Australia along with other ranchers who was hired to work in the country. She ended up with Piolo (Migo) once and for all. But after two years, Migo (Piolo) arrived in Australia as a ranch boy. And he still wants to win Arah's love. Will it be happlily ever after between the two?

Land Down Under Premier in December

The long wait is over - for TFC fans in the US, at least. While back home, the play date of Land Down Under is moved to January, TFC fans in San Francisco and Los Angeles, California can have a taste of the movie via its official premier in the theaters. What's more , both Piolo and Angel will grace the event, making it as special as the premieres in the Philippines.

This is one of the firsts, wherein the Filipino community abroad were the first to take a peep of the movie, instead of local fans. Play dates will be on December 6 and 7 respectively. The Los Angeles premiere will be held at the Wadsworth Theater while the San Francisco screening will be at the Fox Theater.

Seems like Land Down Under was finished at the expected time frame. Why it was moved to a later playing date is a very big question. This is also what happened to Lobo, which was aired two months than the slated TV debut. Anything about Angel that makes her project in ABS-CBN always rescheduled?

It's mid November and there is still yet any signs of Piolo's and Angel's film, Land Down Under. Star Cinema normally promotes their movies a full month before its release. And it is also shown in local theaters for at least 4 weeks. There is yet any signs of Land Down Under. No teaser for the film is being shown just yet. Fans are getting anxious about the film's slated showing date as it is most likely going to be moved in January. AiAi's Taning Ina Nyong Lahat will be the movie outfit's entry for the Metro Manila Film Festival in December.

The late showing can be blame on the delayed visa processing and to the main star's local and international commitments. Anyway, the movie is going to be a good start for the new year for Star Cinema.

Piolo Pascual is still out of the country. But this time he's not doing any more singing - for a while that is. Piolo Pascual is off to Australia to finish the last part of his movie with Angel Locsin, Land Down Under. Piolo will stay there for approximately 10 days. Angel Locsin and the rest of the movie crew were already there. Piolo will just catch up on the scenes because he still had to finish the Heartthrob European concert with Sam Milby.

Land Down Under on its Final Week of Shooting

Finally, it's nearly done. Piolo Pascual's and Angel Locsin's "Land Down Under" is on its last stages of shooting. In fact, this week was Piolo and Angel's last shooting days, if everything turn out well and a reshoot is not deemed necessary by the post production people.

This means that the film will possibly be shown in November as projected and not on February as rumored. The last part of the shooting was a rigorous one indeed. It is the main reason why Angel failed to show up on one of the scheduled fashion shows of Folded and Hung.

If Bukidnon is never regarded to be a tourist spot in all of the Philippines, now it is. After Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin's shooting in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, a lot of people are now wanting to visit the place and do some horse back riding.

Well, the movie, tentatively titled "Land Down Under" is not even shown on theaters yet. And the full movie trailer is yet to be released as well. But with the response and attention the movie is getting, this movie is expected to be another hit.

For the movie, both Piolo and Angel have to learn horseback riding. Their cowboy love story also takes them to Darwin, Australia. The two are currently filming the last few scenes of the movie in the said location to finish in time for its November showing date.

She actually had a slipped disc when she fell from the horse she's riding.

Both Piolo and Angel are mum as to how much they are insured for the movie. Tentative showing date of the movie is on November.

It's final. The title of Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin's movie will be "Land Down Under" and not "Austrialia" as it was previously reported. Piolo will play as a cowboy in this movie. Both him and Angel were trained to ride horses, under the supervision of Vic Barba and Mikee Cojuanco. And because riding a horse for a first timer is quite risky, ABS-CBN insured their two stars while making the movie and training at the Manila Polo Club.

The film will be shot both in Australia and the Philippines, more particularly in Bukidnon. "Land Down Under" is directed by critically acclaimed director Rory Quintos and is set to hit the Philippine cinemas in November. This movie is under Star Cinema.
