Piolo Pascual's The Heartthrobs Live in New York

The Heartthrobs Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby will be in New York on March 31, 2010. They will perform in a concert entitled "Heartthrobs and Friends Live in NY". The event will be held at the Manhattan Center - New York. Other stars set to perform Pokwang, John LLoyd Cruz, Gerald Anderson, Bea Alonzo, Kim Chui, and Richard Poon. 10-year old child Lianah Sta. Ana will do the opening act.

Pokwang Wants Piolo Pascual

Piolo Pascual is everybody's leading man, including Pokwang. Pokwang recently signed a 2-year non-exclusive contract with Regal Films. She has a good line up of movies ready for her in the coming years. But when asked who she wanted to be paired with, she immediately gushed "Papa P!"

Pokwang is Piolo Pascual's friend, after the two has spend almost 3 years together doing Heartthrobs. Piolo Pascual and Pokwang will be seen on stage again together with fellow Heartthrob Sam Milby in a US concert tour. They're ready to go during the last week of March. Piolo Pascual Wants to be the Next Iron Man

What does it take to be an Iron Man? Piolo Pascual is willing to find out. Piolo wants to be the next Ironman 70.3 Philippines that's why he decided to participate in the event. The search for the next Ironman will happen in August at Camarines Sur.

Ironman 70.3 is a triathlon event. If Piolo will participate in it, he would have to undergo three events - running, swimming, and biking. He said that he has been training for the event all year long, the fun runs that he had participated in (Star Magic and DZMM) has helped him a lot. Right now, his focus is on swimming and biking. He also said that he is training with a coach.

Ironman 70.3 is sponsored by Timex, a brand of watch Piolo Pascual endorses. This is also the reason why he immediately agreed participating in it.

Piolo Pascual Will Stay a Kapamilya, Says ABS-CBN Execs

With the ever increasing buzz in the showbiz industry that Piolo Pascual will make a big career move by shifting stations, the executives of ABS-CBN finally came out to put the issue to rest. They recently released a public statement saying that Piolo Pascual remains to be an exclusive Kapamilya star.

Bong Osorio, ABS-CBN's Corporate Communications head, further stated that Piolo Pascual is happy with the network and is not sending feelers to rival stations or is going freelance. He currently has a huge lineup of movie and TV projects under ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries.

Piolo Pascual in Another Fun Run

Fun runs are getting popular these days, as stars are usually invited to participate in such events and win public interest. Piolo Pascual is a favorite figure in these events, as he graced the recently concluded Takbo Para Sa Kalikasan of DZMM and the Timex Fun Run, which he endorses.

Last March 14, Piolo Pascual together with the rest of the Star Magic artists run for 5 kilometers in their very own Fun Run. Tagged as the 1st Star Magic Run, the main purpose of the event is to arouse awareness among the voting public the importance of this year's national elections.

Piolo Pascual May Not Endorse a Politician

Though the season is high on political campaigning for the upcoming national elections, Piolo Pascual along with other big star like Judy Ann Santos chose not to endorse anybody in particular. While he starred as Ninoy Aquino recently in MMK, he may not necessarily go out campaigning for Kris's brother Noynoy Aquino in his bid for the presidency.

When asked, Piolo said that he will make an announcement about this matter soon. But for now, his name is not directly associated with any politician or political party for that matter.

When interviewed about it, Piolo said that “It’s not all about money. It is integrity and who has the biggest love for the country. It is also not about joining the majority or being friends with people associated with the candidates. This is something that I’ve been seriously thinking about for some time now, and I’m praying about it, too, so I can finally decide if I should endorse or not.”

Piolo Pascual and Ruffa Gutierrez for Century Properties

The big ticket company that signed Piolo Pascual and Ruffa Gutierrez in an advertisement deal is Century Properties. Together, they would be the endorsers of the Azure Urban Resort Residences, a prime condominium residence in Paranaque City. The edifice's selling point is its man made beach complete with white sands and waves.

However, this could be Piolo and Ruffa's last project together, since Ruffa has recently signed up with TV5. She will be leaving The Buzz and today is supposed to be her last day on the show. It is not even confirmed if she'll personally appear or will simply air her goodbye through a VTR.

Piolo Pascual Wants a Project with Gretchen Barretto

Fresh from Gretchen Barretto's contract signing with ABS-CBN, Piolo Pascual was one of the first few actors who vocally aired his wish to work with the beauty goddess. Piolo said that it is going to be a real honor if he can do a soap or a movie with Gretchen.

Gretchen returned the compliment, saying she too wanted to work with Piolo. However, both of them are concentrating on different projects. Piolo's next job is to star in a movie with Zaijian Jaranilla while Gretchen is all set to do a soap with Bea Alonzo and Derek Ramsey.

Piolo Pascual's Only Regret

If there's one thing that Piolo Pascual regrets, that would be his lack of time with his son Inigo. He said that he wishes to spend more quality time with his son but it is almost impossible because of his work here and that Inigo is living in the states.

However, Piolo looks forward to the Heartthrobs tour in the US this coming holy week. The Heartthrobs tour is getting an annual affair for him and Sam Milby and this time around, they will be joined by Richard Poon, John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson, Kim Chiu, and Pokwang.

Piolo Pascual and Ruffa Gutierrez Working Together

Ruffa Gutierrez has openly admitted that she likes Piolo Pascual. Now, the two had the chance to work together. But not in a film or a TV series. Only in a recently launched endorsement deal. For which product, they do not want to disclose yet.

In an interview with Ruffa, she said that Piolo does inspire her. Piolo, despite his busy schedule, get to sleep early at night, has little nightlife, and has time to go to the gym before going to work. She said that if Piolo can do all of that, then she can too. She admires Piolo's self-discipline all the most.

Piolo Pascual Runs for the Environment

Piolo Pascual participated in DZMM's Takbo Para sa Kalikasan. The theme of the fun run is to initiate awareness and raise funds for the restoration of the Pasig River.

Piolo Pascual joined VP Noli De Castro and ABS-CBN Foundation President Gina Lopez. Other stars who were present at the event are Maricar Reyes, Jake Cuenca, Enchong Dee, Ariel Oreta, Nina Corpuz, Winnie Cordero, and Cory Quirino.

Piolo Pascual participated in the 10k run which he finished in 42 minutes. The fun run started 5am at the Quirino Grandstand.

This is the second time Piolo Pascual participated in a fun run. The first time was with Timex as shown in the second picture above.

Anne Curtis' Dream Leading Man is Piolo Pascual

Anne Curtis' celebrated her birthday last February and when asked which actor she would like to be paired with next, Anne said that she'd like to work with Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, and Dingdong Dantes. She would also like to play an offbeat role.

Anne Curtis has spent years with ABS-CBN after her transfer from the rival network. But the audience would still have to see her and Piolo doing a project together. It is indeed a dream come true, not just for Anne but for all the rest of Piolo Pascual fans because they would definitely look good together.

Piolo Pascual to be Paired with Carmen Soo Next

While Piolo Pascual is gearing up for a movie with new child wonder Zaijian Jaranilla, word has it that Piolo's leading lady in that movie is going to be Malaysian actress Carmen Soo. Carmen Soo's first show in the Philippines is Kahit Isang Saglit opposite Jericho Rosales. The news is already confirmed and Piolo Pascual is looking forward to the tandem. He said that he hasn't formally met Carmen yet but she has seen her several times in ASAP and around the ABS-CBN compound. He's excited in getting to know her better. He also added that the story conference will be held soon and that shooting is bound to follow next.

Piolo Pascual's Health Regimen

When asked what makes him look good and feel good, Piolo Pascual said that his health regimen is quite simple. He said that he doesn't eat pork, beef, or rice. He eats sushi at times though, and that's an exception. For carbs, fiber, and vitamins, he go for banana. Piolo also regard sleep as a very important element so he makes it a point to have at least six hours of sleep everyday.
